Crystal reports dialog box window not visable. Right now when i try to use either the group expert or database expert the dialog box for either does not show up on either my laptop monitor or the extended desktop screen and cr seems to just hang. Our reports shows up well and prints. The print button on the reportviewer just does not work.
I resolved the issue with a crystal report incident we found out that the cr server install does not put printcontroldll in the appropriate place on the server and so the first time a user needed to print from the report viewer the application just stopped at that point. I havent tried it in vista yet but i am having the. It does not show the print dialog.

For windows that dont show up on the taskbar some dialog windows you could press alt tab to cycle through windows picking the one that doesnt appear on the taskbar then alt spacebar select move and tap an arrow key to move it thanks. Same applies to report explorer. I have lost the field explorer in crystal xi. This worked for no move option for item that was in the taskbar.
